Introduction
Here’s the thing—we built these quartz heating tubes around a carbon fiber core for one simple reason: to give you infrared heat that’s raw, powerful, and totally in your control. All packed into a small footprint. These aren’t lamps for making a room feel cozy. They’re built for industrial work that needs heat on demand—fast response, high power, and no waiting around.
The Nitty-Gritty
Let’s talk specs, because they’re what make this thing sing. We’re running 400V into a 2500W tube that’s just 300mm long. That’s a lot of heat packed into a small space, which means the temperature climbs—fast. The 400V choice? It keeps the current draw down for the same power, but it does mean your machine control needs to be ready for that higher voltage. And the 300mm length? It’s the sweet spot—gives you plenty of radiant coverage without taking up more space than necessary.
What’s Inside
We chose a quartz envelope because it handles sudden temperature shifts like a champ and stays rock-solid at high heat. Inside, the carbon fiber filament heats up almost instantly and holds steady, so your cycle times stay predictable. We also added halogen gas and a reflective coating to boost infrared efficiency—so the heat goes where you want it, not wasted all over the place. And for easy installation, it comes with an R7s connector, so you can drop it right into standard fixtures without a hassle.
Where It Shines
If you’re doing PET blowing or any plastics work, you know the drill. You need heat on target, and you need it now. These tubes deliver that intensity, and they keep it steady, cycle after cycle. The compact size and R7s connection make integration and maintenance straightforward. Just keep in mind—with 2500W in a short tube, your machine needs proper cooling and shielding. It’s all about keeping everything running safely, for both your equipment and your team.
