A Quick Look at the Power Behind the Heat
We built this carbon quartz heating tube for those tight industrial spaces where you need heat, and you need it now. It runs at 400V and packs a 2500W punch, all in a seriously compact package. The 300mm length keeps the heat focused on a small area—perfect for targeting a specific part or a small die face without wasting energy all over the place. Running at higher voltage also means lower current for the same wattage. That keeps your wiring simple and cuts down on voltage drop.
What It’s Made Of: Built to Last
The quartz envelope handles wild temperature swings without cracking. Inside, the halogen fill keeps the filament stable, fighting off that blackening you see over time. So you get consistent, reliable output for the long haul. The carbon filament gives you predictable resistance and even heat along the whole tube. And for termination, we went with R7s end caps. They make installation a breeze—just two contacts that lock in quickly and can handle the high heat at the terminals.
Where It Shines: Fast, Focused Heat
This tube is your go-to for jobs that demand fast-on, fast-off infrared heat. Think plastic processing, thermoforming, or heating zones in packaging and converting equipment. The concentrated heat profile hits a precise spot, which helps you cut down on cycle time and wasted energy. **One thing to keep in mind:**that 2500W density is serious, so you’ll need proper cooling and thermal clearance. Size your mounting and reflectors to manage the ambient heat, and you’ll have a reliable, drop-in solution that just works.
