A 300mm tube, for example, can hit around 2500W. That’s a lot of watt density in a short package. This isn’t a gentle element. It keeps current lower for a given power, which means you can use smaller conductors and cut down on connection losses. Just remember: you still need to size your wiring, contactors, and insulation properly for 400V. And of course, proper guarding and terminal protection matter—safety first, always.

Inside the clear quartz envelope, you’ve got a carbon fiber heating element. Why carbon fiber? It gives us stable resistance and predictable behavior as temperatures shift. It also handles thermal shock far better than many wound wire elements, which means fewer surprises on the floor. The envelope is clear on purpose. We want the infrared energy to get straight to the target, with nothing blocking the path. Clear quartz also helps with fast heat-up and cool-down, which is a big deal when you’re running short cycles and can’t afford to wait around. For the base, we use the R7s connector—an industrial workhorse. It gives you a rigid, two-point contact that stays solid even in high heat and vibration. Wire it once, and it stays put. If your machine needs something different, we can spec SK15 or other connectors, but R7s is the standard for drop-in replacement in many heating fixtures.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
Use this tube wherever you need fast, localized heat: PET blowing preforms, thermoforming sheets, shrink tunnels, and oven zones. The medium wave profile heats plastics and coatings evenly, so you get the punch you need without scorching the surface. That means production keeps moving, and quality stays consistent. But there is a trade-off: high watt density means your reflector geometry, airflow, and cooling need to match the heat load.
